All Coming Together

Things are slowly coming together. The paper order that was MIA and then arrived only in part is hopefully being fixed and then some. Hard to make paper crafts without paper! I am getting some paper bead bracelets whipped up, perfect Earth Day craft! And keeping busy with some other little crafty things. Today I'll be getting ready for the family invasion happening this weekend, I'm so excited to see everyone! Saturday Mr. Golden Curls has a party in celebration of his 5th birthday! So I'm doing the cleaning. Not just the normal, keeping the house from total chaos cleaning but the oh my goodness family, friends, and new neighbors we barely know will be in our house kind of cleaning. Huge difference!

Slowly, ever so slowly I'm receiving the supplies I ordered online. The handmade supplies I purchased from Etsy sellers arrived super fast. The non-Etsy paper orders, not so much. And there's one that's still MIA that I'm getting a little concerned about. I'm whipping up some fun stuff for The Beehive so keep your eyes peeled for shop updates. I also have some promo and giveaway ideas in the works that I hope to be throwing out there in the next week or so. Though I'm having trouble with orders, I did get a fantastic surprise in the mail! An interior designer friend of mine sent me some really cool fabric swatches that I hope to turn into something equally cool. I love suprises in the mail!

My Rockabilly Bracelet is in a fantastic treasury featuring upcycled creations. The treasury is called One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure and is curated by live funky. She's an artist and is currently having a sale on all her paintings so check out her shop! Thanks live funky, I'm honored to be next to so many beautiful pieces!

Wow! I was unable to post about this treasury due to my lousy dial up but was informed by idyllhands yesterday morning that the treasury made it to the front page!!! This is one of the top etsy honors. Every hour a new treasury is picked by etsy admin. to grace the front page of etsy and this beautiful treasury made it! Thanks idyll for the front page screen shot. In one day the views on my bracelet jumped from about 50 to nearly 400! Ah, the power of the front page.

But wait, there's more! Another honor today, glassbead, who makes beautiful handmade glass beads, put my Contemporary Asian Inspired Mini Album/Journal in her treasury, Art In Your Daily Life. I'm feeling the love these days!
